Lansing, Michigan - A lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court against Governor Rick Snyder, the officers of the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS), and several DHS employees and sub-contracting agencies on behalf of 19 handicapped adopted children, their parents, and three other children.

A formal press conference was held in front of DHS’ Headquarters at 235 S. Grand Avenue, Lansing, Michigan, on September 13, 2012 which informed the public about DHS’ appalling treatment of Michigan foster and adoptive children and their families.
